Abstract

Emerging economies of post-soviet countries such as Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, and Tajikistan have shown great potential for e-commerce growth. Central Asian region shows significant opportunities for expansion with its strategic location, abundant natural resources, and expanding consumer base. The region can capitalize on these opportunities, as e-commerce,an essential driver of economic development and job creation, has potential to transform its trade landscape. However, its success depends on the development of efficient logistics infrastructure, which remains a significant challenge. This paper examinesthe logistics stumbling blocks in Central Asia’s e-commerce sector and proposes potential solutions that could bring sustained growth in regions digital economy.
