Abstract

This article analyzes the principle of international law ensuring a child's right to life, survival and development, its essence, and legal basis. It also highlights the right of every child to privacy and state support fortheir physical, mental, psychological, spiritual, and social development. In addition, international law indicates that this principle is inextricably linked with other principles -the highest interests of the child, the right to non-discrimination, protection from violence, and rehabilitation. In our national legislation, the methods of implementing this principle are considered, and it is noted that a deep analysis of this principle has important theoretical and practical significance in the effective protection of children's rights at the international and national levels.
