Abstract

This study examined the attitues of healthcare staff at hospital in a region Kasan towards learning English for medical purposes. The main aim was to understand their perspectives and identifying our steps to take for the development of Englishfor Medical Purpose (EMP) teaching program. The results revealed that while most younger doctors expressed a desire to learn, senior doctors showed less interest. This difference in motivation will be considered in the program’s design, particularyly in addressing the needs of both younger and more experienced physicians.
